Hingham’s frontline workers give us much to be grateful for during this time. They work hard to keep us safe and continue to ensure that important services remain uninterrupted.

There are many organizations accepting contributions, both big and small. However, if you’re looking for an opportunity to contribute locally, consider supporting FLAG (Front Line Appreciation Group) Boston. They use funds to provide meals from local restaurants to front line medical staff, which has the added benefit of keeping these restaurants afloat.

“How generous our community has been,” says Kathleen Thrun, an organizer from Hingham. “We all stand united to help our frontline workers.

Please note that a gift does not qualify as a tax-deductible donation. Rather, it is a kindness to our local community.

Thank you and stay safe.
